This Privacy Policy describes how ZunixAI ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, stores, and shares your personal information when you use the ZunixAI web application and all related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

Account Registration: When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password (stored securely as a cryptographic hash). If you sign in via Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture.

Your Fitness Profile: During onboarding, we collect your fitness goal, daily calorie/macro targets, dietary preferences, and activity level. This information is used solely to customise your macro tracking experience.

Meal Scan Data: When you photograph a meal, the image is processed via Google Gemini 2.0 Flash to calculate macronutrients. Meal photographs are processed in transit and are not permanently retained in our systems.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

We automatically collect Usage Data (pages visited, features used, session duration) and Device Info (device type, operating system, browser, screen resolution) to improve service performance, along with IP addresses for security and routing.

1.3 Information Received From Third Parties

We coordinate securely with Google (Firebase Auth/Gemini API), Supabase (database host), and Dodo Payments (billing engine).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data strictly to deliver meal scanning, track your calorie logs, manage subscriptions, improve food recognition, and provide customer support. We do not use your data for advertising, we do not build tracking profiles, and we never sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

3. Data Security & Retention

We enforce SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit. Database records are protected by strict row-level security. We retain account data for as long as your account is active, and you can delete your account and all associated data at any time via Settings.

4. Your Rights
