2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide During Onboarding
When you create your Zunix AI account and complete the onboarding process, we collect: your name, age, biological sex, height, current weight, target weight, primary fitness goal, sport or trainee category, activity level, training frequency, diet type, food avoidances and allergies, medical conditions you disclose, meal frequency preferences, meal source preferences, and plan complexity preference. This information is used solely to calculate your personalised nutrition targets and generate your coaching plan.

2.2 Food Photos You Upload
When you use the meal scanner feature, you upload or capture photographs of your food. These photos are transmitted to our AI processing service for nutritional analysis. Photos are processed in real time and are not permanently stored on our servers after analysis is complete. The nutritional data extracted from your photo including calories, macros, and meal name is stored in your account.

2.3 Account Information
If you create an account using email and password or Google sign-in, we collect your email address and a secure authentication token. We do not store your Google password. Authentication is handled by a secure third-party authentication provider.

2.4 Usage Data
We automatically collect information about how you use Zunix AI including pages visited, features used, meal logs created, timestamps of activity, and device type and browser. This data is used to improve the product and fix bugs.

2.5 Payment Information
Payment processing is handled entirely by Razorpay for Indian users and Stripe for international users. We do not store your card number, CVV, or banking details on our servers. We only receive a transaction confirmation and subscription status from these payment processors.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following purposes: to calculate your personalised daily calorie and macro targets, to generate AI-powered nutrition coaching responses tailored to your specific profile, to track your meal history and daily progress, to send you the weekly AI coach report every Monday, to improve our AI models and food recognition accuracy, to send you important service notifications including subscription updates and security alerts, and to comply with our legal obligations.

We do not use your health data for advertising. We do not sell your personal data to any third party. We do not show advertisements inside Zunix AI.

4. Data Sharing

We share your data only with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf under strict data processing agreements. These providers include our database and authentication service, AI food image analysis service, and payment processors. All providers are contractually required to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes.

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or government authority.

5. Health Data and Medical Disclaimer

Zunix AI is a nutrition information and coaching tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The nutritional information and coaching guidance provided by Zunix AI is for educational and informational purposes only. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or have specific clinical dietary requirements, please consult a registered dietitian or qualified medical professional before following any nutrition plan generated by Zunix AI.

Any medical conditions you disclose during onboarding are used solely to personalise your plan and add appropriate safety warnings. This information is not shared with insurance companies, healthcare providers, or any third party.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data and meal logs for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we permanently delete all your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain records for legal or financial compliance purposes.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access all personal data we hold about you, to correct any inaccurate data, to request deletion of your account and all associated data, to export your meal log data, and to withdraw consent for any optional data processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the Contact page on our website. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Security

We protect your data using industry-standard security measures including SSL and TLS encryption for all data in transit, encryption for data at rest, and row-level security policies ensuring each user can only access their own data.
